Sneakerhead.com is an online retailer that specializes in selling limited edition sneakers. Their audience is part of a larger street wear scene that has a particular style and visual voice. Their previous logo was not a logo that was developed to reflect that style and they were looking to modernize their look and add a bug or icon that could stand alone yet still echo their brand. I also was asked to work within their current visual language so the logo was the only item that would be changing on their website, Facebook page and Twitter accounts. I not only gave them a mark that updated their look but simplified their logotype on a wooded surface that appears on their webpage. I also created an icon that said their name without having the name in type next to it. And that's why I created the icon+.com versions below.
